Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
Atlantic Expedited LLC (“Atlantic Expedited,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website atlanticexpedited.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit the Site, request a freight quote, apply to drive with us, or otherwise interact with our services.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide. When you fill out a form on the Site, we may collect your name, company name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, and the contents of your message. If you submit a driver application, we additionally collect information relevant to employment or contracting as a commercial driver: CDL status and issuing state, years of experience, endorsements, safety and violation history, equipment details, availability, and — optionally — an image of your CDL or driver’s license.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we may collect standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring URLs, typically through cookies and similar technologies.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To respond to quote requests, shop bookings, and general inquiries;
- To evaluate driver applications and contact applicants about opportunities;
- To comply with regulatory obligations that apply to motor carriers, including FMCSA regulations;
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Site;
- To protect against fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
3. Driver Application Data & FMCSA Compliance
We follow FMCSA rules on background checks. We ask for your permission before pulling your Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) or running a Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse query. Documents you upload with an application (such as a CDL image) are used only to confirm your details during the recruiting process, are stored securely, are never shared outside Atlantic Expedited, and are deleted on request or if you are not engaged.
4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
- Service providers who help us operate the Site and our business (e.g., hosting, email), bound by confidentiality obligations;
- Regulators or authorities where required by law, subpoena, or to protect our legal rights;
- Successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
5. Cookies
The Site may use cookies and similar technologies for basic functionality and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect some features of the Site.
6. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described above, comply with legal and regulatory record-keeping obligations, and resolve disputes. General applications are kept on file for up to 12 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
7. Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Choices & Rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right.
9. Children’s Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
